About the fruit: Badhal (Artocarpus lacucha) is also known as Monkey fruit is a native of the sub-Himalayan region, covering parts of Nepal and Uttar Pradesh. This fruit is not easily available in urban regions. Badhal is rich in many nutrients especially Vitamin C and Beta-carotene.
About the pickle: A flavourful savoury pickle made with a blend of spices and mustard oil giving it a unique taste. ~ Hand-made in small batches by the rural women of Arkha, Uttar Pradesh. No added preservatives. ~
Ingredients: Badhal, Salt, Vinegar, Mustard oil, Spices.
Shelf life: 12 months from date of manufacture.
Tip: Always serve with a dry spoon to ensure the longevity of the pickle.
